Isaiah 30:12-14 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)
12 Therefore thus saith the Holy one of Israel, Because you have cast off this word, and trust in violence, and wickedness, and stay thereupon,
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be unto you as a breach that falleth, or a swelling in an high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly in a moment.
14 And the breaking thereof is like the breaking of a potter’s pot, which is broken without pity, and in the breaking thereof is not found a shard to take fire out of the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.

Isaiah 30:12-14 New International Version (NIV)
12 Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says:
“Because you have rejected this message,
relied on oppression
and depended on deceit,
13 this sin will become for you
like a high wall, cracked and bulging,
that collapses suddenly, in an instant.
14 It will break in pieces like pottery,
shattered so mercilessly
that among its pieces not a fragment will be found
for taking coals from a hearth
or scooping water out of a cistern.”
