Isaiah 30:13-15
1599 Geneva Bible
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be unto you as a breach that falleth, or a swelling in an high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly in a moment.
14 And the breaking thereof is like the breaking of a potter’s pot, which is broken without pity, and in the breaking thereof is not found [a]a shard to take fire out of the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.
15 For thus said the [b]Lord God, the Holy one of Israel, In rest and quietness shall ye be saved: in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength, but ye would not.

New International Version
13 this sin will become for you
like a high wall,(A) cracked and bulging,
that collapses(B) suddenly,(C) in an instant.
14 It will break in pieces like pottery,(D)
shattered so mercilessly
that among its pieces not a fragment will be found
for taking coals from a hearth
or scooping water out of a cistern.”
