Isaiah 30:18-20
Living Bible
18 Yet the Lord still waits for you to come to him so he can show you his love; he will conquer you to bless you, just as he said. For the Lord is faithful to his promises. Blessed are all those who wait for him to help them.
19 O my people in Jerusalem, you shall weep no more, for he will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. He will answer you. 20 Though he give you the bread of adversity and water of affliction, yet he will be with you to teach you—with your own eyes you will see your Teacher.

New International Version
18 Yet the Lord longs(A) to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.(B)
For the Lord is a God of justice.(C)
Blessed are all who wait for him!(D)
19 People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more.(E) How gracious he will be when you cry for help!(F) As soon as he hears, he will answer(G) you. 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread(H) of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers(I) will be hidden(J) no more; with your own eyes you will see them.
