²¹Your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the ^(A)way, walk in it,” whenever you ^(B)turn to the right or to the left.

²¹Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice^(A) behind you, saying, “This is the way;^(B) walk in it.”

²^[a]^(A)he can deal gently with the ^(B)ignorant and ^(C)misguided, since he himself also is ^[b]^(D)clothed in weakness;

²He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray,^(A) since he himself is subject to weakness.^(B)
