7 For in that day every man shall [a]cast out his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your hands have made you, even a sin.
8 [b]Then shall Assyria fall by the sword, not of man, neither shall the sword of man devour him, and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall faint.
9 And he shall go for fear to his [c]tower, and his princes shall be afraid of the standard, saith the Lord, whose [d]fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

7 For in that day(A) every one of you will reject the idols of silver and gold(B) your sinful hands have made.(C)
8 “Assyria(D) will fall by no human sword;
a sword, not of mortals, will devour(E) them.
They will flee before the sword
and their young men will be put to forced labor.(F)
9 Their stronghold(G) will fall because of terror;
at the sight of the battle standard(H) their commanders will panic,(I)”
declares the Lord,
whose fire(J) is in Zion,
whose furnace(K) is in Jerusalem.
