Isaiah 31:7-9
Holman Christian Standard Bible
7 For on that day, every one of you will reject the silver and gold idols that your own hands have sinfully made.(A)
8 Then Assyria will fall,
but not by human sword;
a sword will devour him,
but not one made by man.(B)
He will flee from the sword;
his young men will be put to forced labor.(C)
9 His rock[a] will pass away because of fear,(D)
and his officers will be afraid because of the signal flag.(E)
This is the Lord’s declaration—whose fire is in Zion and whose furnace is in Jerusalem.(F)

New International Version
7 For in that day(A) every one of you will reject the idols of silver and gold(B) your sinful hands have made.(C)
8 “Assyria(D) will fall by no human sword;
a sword, not of mortals, will devour(E) them.
They will flee before the sword
and their young men will be put to forced labor.(F)
9 Their stronghold(G) will fall because of terror;
at the sight of the battle standard(H) their commanders will panic,(I)”
declares the Lord,
whose fire(J) is in Zion,
whose furnace(K) is in Jerusalem.
