7 A stupid person is evil and does evil things; he plots to ruin the poor with lies and to keep them from getting their rights. 8 But an honorable person acts honestly and stands firm for what is right.

New International Version

7 Scoundrels use wicked methods,(A)
    they make up evil schemes(B)
to destroy the poor with lies,
    even when the plea of the needy(C) is just.(D)
8 But the noble make noble plans,
    and by noble deeds(E) they stand.(F)

The Women of Jerusalem

9 You women(G) who are so complacent,
    rise up and listen(H) to me;
you daughters who feel secure,(I)
    hear what I have to say!
