² Lord, be gracious^(A) to us;
    we long for you.
Be our strength^(B) every morning,

⁴ Your plunder,^(H) O nations, is harvested^(I) as by young locusts;^(J)
    like a swarm of locusts people pounce on it.

⁵ The Lord is exalted,^(K) for he dwells on high;^(L)
    he will fill Zion with his justice^(M) and righteousness.^(N)
6 He will be the sure foundation for your times,
    a rich store of salvation^(O) and wisdom and knowledge;
