14 And the wild beasts of the desert shall meet with the [a]wolves, and the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; yea, [b]the night-monster shall settle there, and shall find her a place of rest. 15 There shall the dart-snake make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shade; yea, there shall the kites be gathered, every one with her mate.
16 Seek ye out of the book of Jehovah, and read: no one of these shall be missing, none shall want her mate; for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his Spirit, it hath gathered them.

14 Desert creatures(A) will meet with hyenas,(B)
and wild goats will bleat to each other;
there the night creatures(C) will also lie down
and find for themselves places of rest.
15 The owl will nest there and lay eggs,
she will hatch them, and care for her young
under the shadow of her wings;(D)
there also the falcons(E) will gather,
each with its mate.
