Isaiah 34:8-10

⁸For the Lord has a day of ^(A)vengeance,
A year of recompense for the ^[a]cause of Zion.
⁹^[b]Its streams will be turned into pitch,
And its loose earth into ^(B)brimstone,
And its land will become burning pitch.
¹⁰It will ^(C)not be quenched night or day;
Its ^(D)smoke will go up forever.
From ^(E)generation to generation it will be desolate;
^(F)None will pass through it forever and ever.
