Isaiah 37:18-20

18 Truth it is, O Lord, that the Kings of Assyria have destroyed all lands and [a]their country,
19 And have cast their gods in the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, even wood or stone: therefore they destroyed them.
20 Now therefore, O Lord our God, save thou us out of his hand, that [b]all the kingdoms of the earth may know, that thou only art the Lord.

18 “It is true, Lord, that the Assyrian kings have laid waste all these peoples and their lands.(A) 19 They have thrown their gods into the fire(B) and destroyed them,(C) for they were not gods(D) but only wood and stone, fashioned by human hands.(E) 20 Now, Lord our God, deliver(F) us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth(G) may know that you, Lord, are the only God.[a](H)”
