Long ago I did it;

Now (C)I have brought it to pass,
That (D)you should devastate fortified cities into (E)ruinous heaps.
27 So their inhabitants were short of power;
They were dismayed and put to shame;
They were as the (F)plant of the field and as the green herb,
As (G)grass on the rooftops [a]is scorched before it rises.
28 But I (H)know your sitting down
And your going out and your coming in
And your raging against Me.
