Isaiah 37:30-32
International Children’s Bible
30 “Then the Lord said, ‘Hezekiah, I will give you this sign:
This year you will eat the grain that grows wild.
And the second year you will eat what grows wild from that.
But in the third year, plant grain and harvest it.
Plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
31 The people left alive in the family of Judah
will be saved.
Like plants that take root,
they will grow strong and have many children.
32 A few people will come out of Jerusalem alive.
There will be a few from Mount Zion who will live.
The strong love of the Lord of heaven’s armies
will cause this to happen.’
Isaiah 37:30-32
New International Version
30 “This will be the sign(A) for you, Hezekiah:
“This year(B) you will eat what grows by itself,
and the second year what springs from that.
But in the third year(C) sow and reap,
plant vineyards(D) and eat their fruit.(E)
31 Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah
will take root(F) below and bear fruit(G) above.
32 For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant,(H)
and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors.(I)
The zeal(J) of the Lord Almighty
will accomplish this.
