7 Behold, I will put a spirit in him and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”
8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah, for he heard that he had departed from Lachish. 9 He heard news concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, “He has come out to fight against you.” When he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

Isaiah 37:7-9
New International Version
7 Listen! When he hears a certain report,(A) I will make him want(B) to return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down(C) with the sword.’”
8 When the field commander heard that the king of Assyria had left Lachish,(D) he withdrew and found the king fighting against Libnah.(E)
9 Now Sennacherib(F) received a report(G) that Tirhakah, the king of Cush,[a](H) was marching out to fight against him. When he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah with this word:
