3 Whoever remains in Zion and whoever is left in Jerusalem(A) will be called holy(B)—all in Jerusalem written in the book of life[a](C)— 4 when the Lord has washed away the filth(D) of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodguilt(E) from the heart of Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment(F) and a spirit of burning.(G) 5 Then the Lord will create(H) a cloud of smoke by day(I) and a glowing flame of fire by night over the entire site of Mount Zion and over its assemblies. 3 Those who are left in Zion,(A) who remain(B) in Jerusalem, will be called holy,(C) all who are recorded(D) among the living in Jerusalem. 4 The Lord will wash away the filth(E) of the women of Zion;(F) he will cleanse(G) the bloodstains(H) from Jerusalem by a spirit[a] of judgment(I) and a spirit[b] of fire.(J) 5 Then the Lord will create(K) over all of Mount Zion(L) and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night;(M) over everything the glory[c](N) will be a canopy.(O)
