3 And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem (A)will be called holy—everyone who is (B)recorded among the living in Jerusalem. 4 When (C)the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the [a]blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, 5 then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, (D)a cloud and smoke by day and (E)the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a [b]covering.

3 Those who are left in Zion,(A) who remain(B) in Jerusalem, will be called holy,(C) all who are recorded(D) among the living in Jerusalem. 4 The Lord will wash away the filth(E) of the women of Zion;(F) he will cleanse(G) the bloodstains(H) from Jerusalem by a spirit[a] of judgment(I) and a spirit[b] of fire.(J) 5 Then the Lord will create(K) over all of Mount Zion(L) and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night;(M) over everything the glory[c](N) will be a canopy.(O)
