Isaiah 44:7-9
International Standard Version
7 Who is like me? Let him proclaim
and declare it, and lay it out for himself—[a]
since he made[b] an ancient people.
And let him speak[c] future events;
let them tell him what[d] will happen.
8 Don’t tremble, and don’t be afraid.[e]
Didn’t I tell you and announce it long ago?
You are my witnesses.
Is there any God besides me?
There is no other Rock—
I don’t know of any.”
A Rebuke to Idol Worship
9 Now,[f] all the forming of[g] images means nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Their own witnesses cannot see, and they[h] know nothing. So they will be put to shame.

New International Version
7 Who then is like me?(A) Let him proclaim it.
Let him declare and lay out before me
what has happened since I established my ancient people,
and what is yet to come—
yes, let them foretell(B) what will come.
8 Do not tremble, do not be afraid.
Did I not proclaim(C) this and foretell it long ago?
You are my witnesses. Is there any God(D) besides me?
No, there is no other Rock;(E) I know not one.”
