Isaiah 44:8-10
21st Century King James Version

8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid. Have not I told thee from that time and have declared it? Ye are even My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Yea, there is no God. I know not any.”

9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity, and their delectable things shall not profit. And they are their own witnesses; they see not nor know, that they may be ashamed.

10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

8 Do not tremble, do not be afraid.
    Did I not proclaim(A) this and foretell it long ago?
You are my witnesses. Is there any God(B) besides me?
    No, there is no other Rock;(C) I know not one.”

9 All who make idols(D) are nothing,
    and the things they treasure are worthless.(E)
Those who would speak up for them are blind;(F)
    they are ignorant, to their own shame.(G)
10 Who shapes a god and casts an idol,(H)
    which can profit nothing?(I)
