6 ^(A)Woe to those who are at ease in Zion
And to those who feel secure in the mountain of Samaria,
The ^(B)distinguished men of the foremost of nations,
To whom the house of Israel comes.

¹⁵ This is the ^(A)exultant city
Which ^(B)dwells securely,
Who says in her heart,
“^(C)I am, and there is no one besides me.”
How she has become a ^(D)desolation,
A resting place for beasts!
^(E)Everyone who passes by her will hiss
And wave his hand in contempt.
