^20 (A)Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans!
Declare with the sound of ^(B)joyful shouting, cause this to be heard,
^(C)Bring it forth to the end of the earth;
Say, “^(D)Yahweh has redeemed His servant Jacob.”

⁸ “Wander away from the ^(A)midst of Babylon
And ^[a]go forth from the land of the Chaldeans;
Be also like male goats ^[b]at the head of the flock.

²⁸ There is a ^(A)sound of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon,
To declare in Zion the ^(B)vengeance of Yahweh our God,
Vengeance for His ^(C)temple.

^6 (A)Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you escape with his life!
Do not be ^[a](B)silenced in her ^[b]iniquity,
For this is ^(C)Yahweh’s time of vengeance;
He is going to ^(D)render recompense to her.
