²⁴ Therefore, ^(A)as a tongue of fire consumes stubble
And dry grass collapses into the flame,
So their ^(B)root will become ^(C)like rot and their blossom ^[a]blow away as dust;
For they have ^(D)rejected the law of Yahweh of hosts
And the word of the Holy One of Israel they have spurned.

¹⁴ Do not fear, you ^(A)worm Jacob, you men of Israel;
I will help you,” declares Yahweh, “^[a]and ^(B)your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁶ You will ^(A)winnow them, and the wind will carry them away,
And the storm will scatter them;
But you will ^(B)rejoice in Yahweh;
You will boast in the Holy One of Israel.
