None slumbers or sleeps;
Nor is the ^(F)belt at its waist undone,
Nor its sandal strap broken.
^28 [b](G)Its arrows are sharp and all its bows are bent;
The hoofs of its horses ^[c]seem like flint and its chariot ^(H)wheels like a whirlwind.

⁸ “Their ^(A)horses are swifter than leopards
And ^[a]keener than ^(B)wolves in the evening.
Their ^[b]horsemen come galloping,
Their horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an ^(C)eagle swooping down to devour.
