^67 (A)Then they ^(B)spit in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others ^[a]slapped Him, ⁶⁸ and said, “^(C)Prophesy to us, You ^[b]Christ; who is the one who hit You?”

^63 (A)The men who were holding ^[a]Jesus in custody began mocking Him and beating Him, ⁶⁴ and they blindfolded Him and repeatedly asked Him, saying, “^(B)Prophesy, who is the one who hit You?” ⁶⁵ And they were saying many other things against Him, ^(C)blaspheming.

²² But when He said this, one of the ^(A)officers, who was standing nearby, ^(B)struck Jesus, saying, “Is that the way You answer the high priest?”
