¹²“I, I am he ^(A)who comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of ^(B)man who dies,
of the son of man who is made ^(C)like grass,

¹²“I, even I, am he who comforts^(A) you.
Who are you that you fear^(B) mere mortals,^(C)
human beings who are but grass,^(D)

¹³As one whom his mother comforts,
so ^(A)I will comfort you;
you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

¹³As a mother comforts her child,^(A)
so will I comfort^(B) you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
