¹² For this is what the Lord says: “Behold, those ^[a]who were not sentenced to drink the ^(A)cup will certainly drink it, so are you the one who will be held ^(B)completely blameless? You will not be held blameless, but you will certainly drink it.

³⁹ And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let ^(A)this cup pass from Me; ^(B)yet not as I will, but as You will.”

⁴² He went away again a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cup ^(A)cannot pass away unless I drink from it, ^(B)Your will be done.”
