3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left,(A)
and your descendants will dispossess nations
and inhabit the desolate cities.
4 “Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame;(B)
don’t be humiliated, for you will not be disgraced.
For you will forget the shame of your youth,
and you will no longer remember
the disgrace of your widowhood.(C)
5 Indeed, your husband is your Maker(D)—
his name is the Lord of Armies—
and the Holy One of Israel(E) is your Redeemer;(F)
he is called the God of the whole earth.

Do not fear disgrace;(F) you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth(G)
and remember no more the reproach(H) of your widowhood.(I)
5 For your Maker(J) is your husband(K)—
the Lord Almighty is his name—
the Holy One(L) of Israel is your Redeemer;(M)
he is called the God of all the earth.(N)
