Isaiah 56:10-11
New American Standard Bible
10 His (A)watchmen are (B)blind,
All of them know nothing.
All of them are mute dogs unable to bark,
Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;
11 And the dogs are [a](C)greedy, they [b]are never satisfied.
And they are shepherds who have (D)no understanding;
They have all (E)turned to their own way,
Each one to his unjust gain, [c]without exception.

Israel’s watchmen are blind,
They are all without knowledge.

King James Version
10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
