¹² remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, ^[a](A)excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to ^(B)the covenants of promise, having ^(C)no hope and ^(D)without God in the world. ¹³ But now in ^(E)Christ Jesus you who ^(F)formerly were ^(G)far off ^[b]have ^(H)been brought near ^[c](I)by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For He Himself is ^(J)our peace, ^(K)who made both groups into one and broke down the ^[d]barrier of the dividing wall, ^15 [e]by ^(L)abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is ^(M)the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might ^[f](N)make the two into ^(O)one new man, thus establishing ^(P)peace, ¹⁶ and might ^(Q)reconcile them both in ^(R)one body to God through the cross, ^[g]by it having ^(S)put to death the enmity. ¹⁷ And ^(T)He came and preached ^(U)peace to you who were ^(V)far away, and peace to those who were ^(W)near; ¹⁸ for through Him we both have ^(X)our access in ^(Y)one Spirit to ^(Z)the Father. ¹⁹ So then you are no longer ^(AA)strangers and aliens, but you are ^(AB)fellow citizens with the ^[h]saints, and are of ^(AC)God’s household,
