^8 (A)Then shall your light break forth like the dawn,
    ^(B)and your healing shall spring up speedily;
^(C)your righteousness shall go before you;
    ^(D)the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

^10 (A)if you pour yourself out for the hungry
    and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
^(B)then shall your light rise in the darkness
    and your gloom be as the noonday.

^9 (A)I will bear the indignation of the Lord
    because I have sinned against him,
until ^(B)he pleads my cause
    and executes judgment for me.
^(C)He will bring me out to the light;
    I shall look upon his vindication.
