Isaiah 59:4-6
New American Standard Bible
4 (A)No one sues righteously and (B)no one pleads [a]honestly.
They (C)trust in confusion and speak lies;
They (D)conceive trouble and give birth to disaster.
5 They hatch vipers’ eggs and (E)weave the spider’s web;
The one who eats of their eggs dies,
And from what is crushed, a snake breaks out.
6 Their webs will not become clothing,
Nor will they (F)cover themselves with their works;
Their (G)works are works of wrongdoing,
And an (H)act of violence is in their [b]hands.
