¹⁵ Yet my people have forgotten^(A) me;
    they burn incense^(B) to worthless idols,^(C)
which made them stumble^(D) in their ways,
    in the ancient paths.^(E)
They made them walk in byways,
    on roads not built up.^(F)

¹³ “There are those who rebel against the light,^(A)
    who do not know its ways
    or stay in its paths.^(B)

²⁰ I walk in the way of righteousness,^(A)
    along the paths of justice,

²⁸ In the way of righteousness there is life;^(A)
    along that path is immortality.
