Isaiah 59:8-10
1599 Geneva Bible
8 The way of peace they know not, and there is none equity in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein, shall not know peace.
9 Therefore is [a]judgment far from us, neither doth [b]justice come near unto us: we wait for light, but lo, it is darkness: for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
10 We grope for the wall like the [c]blind, and we grope as one without eyes: we stumble at the noon day as in the twilight: we are in solitary places, as dead men.

Isaiah 59:8-10
New International Version
8 The way of peace they do not know;(A)
there is no justice in their paths.
They have turned them into crooked roads;(B)
no one who walks along them will know peace.(C)
9 So justice is far from us,
and righteousness does not reach us.
We look for light, but all is darkness;(D)
for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows.
10 Like the blind(E) we grope along the wall,
feeling our way like people without eyes.
At midday we stumble(F) as if it were twilight;
among the strong, we are like the dead.(G)
