6 Then flew one of the Seraphims unto me with an hot coal in his hand, which he had taken from the [a]altar with the tongs:
7 And he touched my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips, and thine iniquity shall be taken away, and thy [b]sin shall be purged.
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send? and who shall go for us? Then I said, Here am I, send me.

New International Version
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal(A) in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips;(B) your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.(C)”
8 Then I heard the voice(D) of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send?(E) And who will go for us?(F)”
And I said, “Here am I.(G) Send me!”
