Isaiah 6:7-9
Good News Translation
7 He touched my lips with the burning coal and said, “This has touched your lips, and now your guilt is gone, and your sins are forgiven.”
8 Then I heard the Lord say, “Whom shall I send? Who will be our messenger?”
I answered, “I will go! Send me!”
9 (A)So he told me to go and give the people this message: “No matter how much you listen, you will not understand. No matter how much you look, you will not know what is happening.”

7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips;(A) your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.(B)”
8 Then I heard the voice(C) of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send?(D) And who will go for us?(E)”
And I said, “Here am I.(F) Send me!”
9 He said, “Go(G) and tell this people:
“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’(H)
