9 Be not angry, O Lord, [a]above measure, neither remember iniquity forever: Lo, we beseech thee, behold, we are all thy people.
10 [b]Thine holy cities lie waste: Zion is a wilderness, and Jerusalem a desert.
11 The house of our Sanctuary, and of our glory, [c]where our fathers praised thee, is burnt up with fire, and all our pleasant things are wasted.

9 Do not be angry(A) beyond measure, Lord;
do not remember our sins(B) forever.
Oh, look on us, we pray,
for we are all your people.(C)
10 Your sacred cities(D) have become a wasteland;
even Zion is a wasteland, Jerusalem a desolation.(E)
11 Our holy and glorious temple,(F) where our ancestors praised you,
has been burned with fire,
and all that we treasured(G) lies in ruins.
