¹⁷^(A)The Lord says, “I am making a new earth and new heavens. The events of the past will be completely forgotten.

Isaiah 65:17

New International Version

¹⁷“See, I will create
new heavens and a new earth.^(A)
The former things will not be remembered,^(B)
nor will they come to mind.

¹³^(A)But we wait for what God has promised: new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will be at home.

¹³But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth,^(A) where righteousness dwells.
