66 (A)Báyìí ni Olúwa wí:
“Ọ̀run ni ìtẹ́ mi,
ayé sì ni àpótí ìtìsẹ̀ mi,
Níbo ni ilé tí ẹ ó kọ́ fún mi wà?
Níbo ní ibi ìsinmi mi yóò gbé wà?
2 Kì í ha á ṣe ọwọ́ mi ló tí ṣe nǹkan wọ̀nyí,
bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọ́n sì wà?”
ni Olúwa wí.
“Eléyìí ni ẹni tí mo kà sí:
ẹni náà tí ó rẹra rẹ̀ sílẹ̀ tí ó sì kẹ́dùn ní ọkàn rẹ̀,
tí ó sì wárìrì sí ọ̀rọ̀ mi.
3 Ṣùgbọ́n ẹni tí ó fi akọ màlúù rú ẹbọ
ó dàbí ẹni tí ó pa ènìyàn kan
àti ẹni tí ó bá fi ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn kan tọrẹ,
dàbí ẹni tí ó bẹ́ ajá kan lọ́rùn;
ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá fi irúgbìn ìyẹ̀fun tọrẹ
dàbí ẹni tí ó mú ẹ̀jẹ̀ ẹlẹ́dẹ̀ wá,
ẹni tí ó bá sì sun tùràrí ìrántí,
dàbí ẹni tí ó súre fún òrìṣà.
Wọ́n ti yan ipa ọ̀nà tì wọ́n,
ọkàn wọn pẹ̀lú sì láyọ̀ nínú ohun ìríra wọn;
4 Fún ìdí èyí ni èmi pẹ̀lú yóò ṣe fi ọwọ́ líle mú wọn
n ó sì mú ohun tí wọ́n bẹ̀rù rẹ̀ wá sórí wọn.
Nítorí nígbà tí mo pè, kò sí ẹni tí ó dáhùn,
nígbà tí mo sọ̀rọ̀, ẹnikẹ́ni kò tẹ́tí sílẹ̀.
Wọ́n ṣe ohun búburú ní ojú mi
wọ́n sì yan ohun tí mo kórìíra rẹ̀.”
5 Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa,
Ẹ̀yin tí ẹ ń wárìrì nípasẹ̀ ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀:
“Àwọn arákùnrin yín tí wọ́n kórìíra yín,
tí wọ́n ta yín nù nítorí orúkọ mi, wí pé,
‘Jẹ́ kí a yin Olúwa lógo,
kí a le rí ayọ̀ yín!’
Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ni ojú yóò tì.
6 (B)Gbọ́ rògbòdìyàn láti ìlú wá,
gbọ́ ariwo náà láti tẹmpili wá!
Ariwo tí Olúwa ní í ṣe
tí ó ń san án fún àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀ ohun
tí ó tọ́ sí wọn.
7 (C)“Kí ó tó lọ sí ìrọbí,
ó ti bímọ;
kí ó tó di pé ìrora dé bá a,
ó ti bí ọmọkùnrin.
8 Ta ni ó ti gbọ́ irú nǹkan bẹ́ẹ̀ rí?
Ta ni ó ti rí irú nǹkan bẹ́ẹ̀ rí?
Ǹjẹ́ a le bí orílẹ̀-èdè kan níjọ́ kan
tàbí kí orílẹ̀-èdè lalẹ̀hù ní ìṣẹ́jú kan?
Síbẹ̀síbẹ̀ Sioni bẹ̀rẹ̀ rírọbí
bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ó sì bí àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀.
9 Ǹjẹ́ èmi a ha máa mú wá sí ìrọbí
kí èmi má sì mú ni bí?”
ni Olúwa wí.
“Ǹjẹ́ èmi a ha máa ṣé ilé ọmọ
nígbà tí mo ń mú ìbí wá?”
Ni Ọlọ́run yín wí.
10 “Ẹ bá Jerusalẹmu yọ̀ kí inú yín kí ó sì dùn sí i,
gbogbo ẹ̀yin tí ẹ fẹ́ràn rẹ̀;
ẹ yọ̀ gidigidi pẹ̀lú rẹ̀,
gbogbo ẹ̀yin tí ó ti kẹ́dùn fún un.
11 Nítorí pé ẹ̀yin yóò mu ẹ o sì ní ìtẹ́lọ́rùn
nínú ọmú rẹ̀ tí ó tu ni lára;
Ẹ̀yin yóò mu àmuyó
ẹ ó sì gbádùn nínú àkúnwọ́sílẹ̀ ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ rẹ̀.”
12 Nítorí báyìí ni Olúwa wí:
“Èmi yóò fún un ní àlàáfíà gẹ́gẹ́ bí odò
àti ọrọ̀ orílẹ̀-èdè gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìṣàn omi;
ẹ̀yin yóò mu ọmú, a ó sì gbé yín ní apá rẹ̀
a ó bá yín ṣeré ní orúkún rẹ̀.
13 Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìyá ti í tu ọmọ rẹ̀ nínú,
bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi yóò tù yín nínú
a ó sì tù yín nínú lórí Jerusalẹmu.”
14 Nígbà tí ẹ bá rí èyí, inú yín yóò dùn
ẹ̀yin yóò sì gbilẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí i koríko;
ọwọ́ Olúwa ni a ó sọ di mí mọ̀ fún àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀,
ṣùgbọ́n ìbínú rẹ̀ ni a ó fihàn fún àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀.
15 Kíyèsi i, Olúwa ń bọ̀ pẹ̀lú iná
àti kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun rẹ̀ tí ó dàbí ìjì líle;
òun yóò mú ìbínú rẹ sọ̀kalẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìrunú,
àti ìbáwí rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ahọ́n iná.
16 Nítorí pẹ̀lú iná àti idà
ni Olúwa yóò ṣe ìdájọ́ lórí i gbogbo ènìyàn,
àti ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ni àwọn tí Olúwa yóò pa.
17 “Gbogbo àwọn tí wọ́n ya ara wọn sí mímọ́ tí wọ́n sì sọ ara wọn di mímọ́ láti lọ sínú ọgbà, tí wọ́n tẹ̀lé ẹni tí ó wà láàrín àwọn tí ó jẹ ẹran ẹlẹ́dẹ̀ àti èkúté àti àwọn ohun ìríra mìíràn ni wọn yóò bá òpin wọn pàdé papọ̀,” ni Olúwa wí.
18 “Àti Èmi, nítorí ìgbésẹ̀ wọn àti èrò wọn, èmi ti múra tán láti wá kó àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè àti ahọ́n jọ, wọn yóò sì wá wo ògo mi.
19 “Èmi yóò sì gbé ààmì kan kalẹ̀ láàrín wọn, èmi yóò sì rán díẹ̀ nínú àwọn tí ó sálà lọ sí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè Tarṣiṣi, sí àwọn ará Libia àti Ludi, sí Tubali àti ará Giriki, àti sí àwọn erékùṣù tí ó jìnnà réré tí kò tí ìgbọ́ nípa òkìkí mi tàbí kí ó rí ògo mi. Wọn yóò kéde ògo mi láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè. 20 Wọn yóò sì mú àwọn arákùnrin yín wá, láti gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè, sí òkè mímọ́ mi ní Jerusalẹmu gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọrẹ sí Olúwa lórí ẹṣin, lórí kẹ̀kẹ́ ẹrù àti ọkọ-ẹṣin, àti lórí ìbáaka àti ìbákasẹ,” ni Olúwa wí. “Wọn yóò kó wọn wá, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn ọmọ Israẹli ti mú ọrẹ oníhóró wọn wá, sínú Tẹmpili Olúwa nínú ohun èlò mímọ́. 21 Àti pé èmi yóò sì yan àwọn kan nínú wọn pẹ̀lú láti jẹ́ àlùfáà àti Lefi,” ni Olúwa wí.
22 (D)“Gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn ọ̀run tuntun àti ayé tuntun tí mo dá yóò ṣe wà níwájú mi títí láé,” ni Olúwa wí, “Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni orúkọ yín àti ìrandíran yín yóò pegedé. 23 Láti oṣù tuntun kan dé òmíràn àti láti ọjọ́ ìsinmi kan dé òmíràn, ni gbogbo ọmọ ènìyàn yóò wá, wọn yóò sì tẹríba níwájú mi,” ni Olúwa wí. 24 (E)“Wọn yóò sì jáde lọ wọn yóò sì lọ wo òkú àwọn tí wọ́n dìtẹ̀ sí mi; kòkòrò wọn kì yóò kú, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni iná wọn ni a kì yóò pa, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọn yóò sì jẹ́ ohun ìríra fún gbogbo ọmọ ènìyàn.”

Judgment and Hope
66 This is what the Lord says:
“Heaven is my throne,(A)
and the earth is my footstool.(B)
Where is the house(C) you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
2 Has not my hand made all these things,(D)
and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.
“These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,(E)
and who tremble at my word.(F)
3 But whoever sacrifices a bull(G)
is like one who kills a person,
and whoever offers a lamb
is like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
whoever makes a grain offering
is like one who presents pig’s(H) blood,
and whoever burns memorial incense(I)
is like one who worships an idol.
They have chosen their own ways,(J)
and they delight in their abominations;(K)
4 so I also will choose harsh treatment for them
and will bring on them what they dread.(L)
For when I called, no one answered,(M)
when I spoke, no one listened.
They did evil(N) in my sight
and chose what displeases me.”(O)
5 Hear the word of the Lord,
you who tremble at his word:(P)
“Your own people who hate(Q) you,
and exclude you because of my name, have said,
‘Let the Lord be glorified,
that we may see your joy!’
Yet they will be put to shame.(R)
6 Hear that uproar from the city,
hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound(S) of the Lord
repaying(T) his enemies all they deserve.
7 “Before she goes into labor,(U)
she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
she delivers a son.(V)
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen(W) things like this?
Can a country be born in a day(X)
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.(Y)
9 Do I bring to the moment of birth(Z)
and not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Do I close up the womb
when I bring to delivery?” says your God.
10 “Rejoice(AA) with Jerusalem and be glad for her,
all you who love(AB) her;
rejoice greatly with her,
all you who mourn(AC) over her.
11 For you will nurse(AD) and be satisfied
at her comforting breasts;(AE)
you will drink deeply
and delight in her overflowing abundance.”(AF)
12 For this is what the Lord says:
“I will extend peace(AG) to her like a river,(AH)
and the wealth(AI) of nations like a flooding stream;
you will nurse and be carried(AJ) on her arm
and dandled on her knees.
13 As a mother comforts her child,(AK)
so will I comfort(AL) you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
14 When you see this, your heart will rejoice(AM)
and you will flourish(AN) like grass;
the hand(AO) of the Lord will be made known to his servants,(AP)
but his fury(AQ) will be shown to his foes.
15 See, the Lord is coming with fire,(AR)
and his chariots(AS) are like a whirlwind;(AT)
he will bring down his anger with fury,
and his rebuke(AU) with flames of fire.
16 For with fire(AV) and with his sword(AW)
the Lord will execute judgment(AX) on all people,
and many will be those slain(AY) by the Lord.
17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens,(AZ) following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs,(BA) rats(BB) and other unclean things—they will meet their end(BC) together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.
18 “And I, because of what they have planned and done,(BD) am about to come[a] and gather the people of all nations(BE) and languages, and they will come and see my glory.(BF)
19 “I will set a sign(BG) among them, and I will send some of those who survive(BH) to the nations—to Tarshish,(BI) to the Libyans[b] and Lydians(BJ) (famous as archers), to Tubal(BK) and Greece,(BL) and to the distant islands(BM) that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory.(BN) They will proclaim my glory among the nations. 20 And they will bring(BO) all your people, from all the nations, to my holy mountain(BP) in Jerusalem as an offering to the Lord—on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels,”(BQ) says the Lord. “They will bring them, as the Israelites bring their grain offerings, to the temple of the Lord in ceremonially clean vessels.(BR) 21 And I will select some of them also to be priests(BS) and Levites,” says the Lord.
22 “As the new heavens and the new earth(BT) that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure.(BU) 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath(BV) to another, all mankind will come and bow down(BW) before me,” says the Lord. 24 “And they will go out and look on the dead bodies(BX) of those who rebelled(BY) against me; the worms(BZ) that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched,(CA) and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
