15 He will feed on curds and honey
    by the time he learns to reject the bad
    and choose the good.
16 Before that child has learned
    to reject the bad and choose the good,
deserted will be the lands
    of those two kings whom you dread.
17 The Lord will inflict on you,
    and on your people and your father’s house,
days far worse than any that have been seen
    since Ephraim[a] broke away from Judah—
    you will become subjects of the king of Assyria.
