3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and your son [a]Shear-jashub, at the end of the (A)conduit of the upper pool, on the highway to the [b]fuller’s field, 4 and say to him, ‘Take care and be (B)calm, have no (C)fear and (D)do not be fainthearted because of these two stubs of smoldering (E)firebrands, on account of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and the (F)son of Remaliah. 5 Because (G)Aram, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has planned evil against you, saying,

3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out, you and your son Shear-Jashub,[a](A) to meet Ahaz at the end of the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field.(B) 4 Say to him, ‘Be careful, keep calm(C) and don’t be afraid.(D) Do not lose heart(E) because of these two smoldering stubs(F) of firewood—because of the fierce anger(G) of Rezin and Aram and of the son of Remaliah.(H) 5 Aram, Ephraim and Remaliah’s(I) son have plotted(J) your ruin, saying,
