3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Now you and your son Shear-jashub go out to meet Ahaz at the end of the ditch of the upper pool on the road to the Fuller’s Field. 4 Say to him, ‘Be careful and quiet. Do not be afraid or weak in your heart because of these two pieces of burnt and smoking wood. 3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out, you and your son Shear-Jashub,[a](A) to meet Ahaz at the end of the aqueduct of the Upper Pool, on the road to the Launderer’s Field.(B) 4 Say to him, ‘Be careful, keep calm(C) and don’t be afraid.(D) Do not lose heart(E) because of these two smoldering stubs(F) of firewood—because of the fierce anger(G) of Rezin and Aram and of the son of Remaliah.(H) 5 Aram, Ephraim and Remaliah’s(I) son have plotted(J) your ruin, saying,
