Isaiah 7:9-11
International Standard Version
9 Furthermore, Ephraim’s head is Samaria,
and Remaliah’s son is its king.[a]
If all of you don’t keep on believing,
you’ll never remain loyal.’”[b]

10 Later on, the Lord spoke to Ahaz again: 11 “Ask a sign from the Lord your God. Make it as deep as Sheol[c] or as high as heaven above.”

New International Version
9 The head of Ephraim is Samaria,(A)
and the head of Samaria is only Remaliah’s son.
If you do not stand(B) firm in your faith,(C)
you will not stand at all.’”(D)
10 Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz, 11 “Ask the Lord your God for a sign,(E) whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.(F)”
