Isaiah 8:21-22

21 And they will pass through [a]the land (A)hard-pressed and hungry, and it will be that when they are hungry, they will be angry and curse [b]their king and their God as they face upward. 22 Then they will (B)look to the earth, and behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish; and they will be (C)banished into thick darkness.

21 Distressed and hungry,(A) they will roam through the land;(B) when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse(C) their king and their God. 22 Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom,(D) and they will be thrust into utter darkness.(E)
