Isaiah 8:8-10
New American Standard Bible 1995
8 “Then (A)it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass through,
It will (B)reach even to the neck;
And the spread of its wings will [a]fill the breadth of [b]your land, O (C)Immanuel.
A Believing Remnant
9 “(D)Be broken, O peoples, and be [c](E)shattered;
And give ear, all remote places of the earth.
Gird yourselves, yet be [d]shattered;
Gird yourselves, yet be [e]shattered.
10 “(F)Devise a plan, but it will be thwarted;
State a [f]proposal, but (G)it will not stand,
For [g](H)God is with us.”
