²² The Lord will strike Egypt, striking and healing. Then they will turn to the Lord, and he will be receptive to their prayers and heal them.

Messiah’s Jubilee

²² Many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the Lord of Armies in Jerusalem and to plead for the Lord’s favor.”^{(A) 23} The Lord of Armies says this: “In those days, ten men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you,^(B) for we have heard that God is with you.”

² But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings,^(A) and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.^[a]

²⁴ Then the news about him spread throughout Syria.^(A) So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics.^(B) And he healed them.

⁴⁷ When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea^(A) into Galilee, he went to him and pleaded with him to come down and heal his son, since he was about to die.

⁸ Publius’s father was in bed suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went to him, and praying and laying his hands on him, he healed him.^(A)
