God’s Blessings for Israel

⁴ And his tail *swept away a ^(A)third of the stars of heaven and ^(B)hurled them to the earth. And the ^(C)dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth ^(D)he might devour her Child.

The Angel, Michael

⁷ And there was war in heaven, ^(A)Michael and his angels waging war with the ^(B)dragon. The dragon and ^(C)his angels waged war,

⁹ And the great ^(A)dragon was thrown down, the ^(B)serpent of old who is called the devil and ^(C)Satan, who ^(D)deceives the whole ^[a]world; he was ^(E)thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

¹³ And when the ^(A)dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted ^(B)the woman who gave birth to the male Child.

^16 [a]But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon had hurled out of his mouth. ¹⁷ So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to ^(A)make war with the rest of her ^[b](B)children, who ^(C)keep the commandments of God and ^(D)hold to the testimony of Jesus.

² And the beast that I saw was ^(A)like a leopard, and his feet were like those of ^(B)a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of ^(C)a lion. And the ^(D)dragon gave him his power and his ^(E)throne, and great authority.

⁴ they worshiped the ^(A)dragon because he ^(B)gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “^(C)Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”

The Beast from the Earth

¹¹ Then ^(A)I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had ^(B)two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a ^(C)dragon.
