¹⁸ On that day those who are ^(A)deaf will hear ^(B)words of a book,
And out of their gloom and darkness the ^(C)eyes of those who are blind will see.

³ Then ^(A)the eyes of those who see will not be ^[a]blinded,
And the ears of those who hear will listen.
⁴ The ^[b]mind of the ^(B)rash will discern the ^[c]truth,
And the tongue of the stammerers will hurry to speak clearly.

⁷ To ^(A)open blind eyes,
To ^(B)bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.

¹⁶ I will ^(A)lead those who are blind by a way they have not known,
In paths they have not known I will guide them.
I will ^(B)turn darkness into light before them
And ^(C)uneven land into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will ^(D)not leave them undone.”
