²⁵ So He poured out on him the heat of His anger
And the ^(A)fierceness of battle;
And it set him aflame all around,
Yet he did not recognize it;
And it burned him, but he ^[a](B)paid no attention.

¹¹ But ^(A)evil will come on you
Which you will not know how to charm away;
And disaster will fall on you
For which you cannot atone;
And ^(B)destruction about which you do not know
Will come on you ^(C)suddenly.

^9 (A)Strangers devour his strength,
Yet he ^(B)does not know it;
Gray hairs also are sprinkled on him,
Yet he does not know it.
