52 Awake, awake,^(A) Zion,
    clothe yourself with strength!^(B)
Put on your garments of splendor,^(C)
    Jerusalem, the holy city.^(D)
The uncircumcised^(E) and defiled^(F)
    will not enter you again.^(G)

⁸ But I will encamp^(A) at my temple
    to guard it against marauding forces.^(B)
Never again will an oppressor overrun my people,
    for now I am keeping watch.^(C)
