⁶ For a child will be born for us,
a son will be given to us,^(A)
and the government will be on His shoulders.^(B)
He will be named
Wonderful Counselor,^(C) Mighty God,^(D)
Eternal Father,^(E) Prince of Peace.^(F)
7 The dominion will be vast,
and its prosperity will never end.^(G)
He will reign on the throne of David
and over his kingdom,
to establish and sustain it
with justice and righteousness from now on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this.^(H)

32 Indeed, a king will reign righteously,
and rulers will rule justly.^(A)

⁴ Since I have made him a witness to the peoples,^(A)
a leader and commander for the peoples,^(B)

¹⁴ He was given authority to rule,^(A)
and glory, and a kingdom;
so that those of every people,
nation, and language^(B)
should serve^(C) Him.
His dominion is an everlasting^(D) dominion
that will not pass away,
and His kingdom is one
that will not be destroyed.

⁷ I will make the lame into a remnant,^(A)
those far removed into a strong nation.
Then the Lord will rule over them^(B) in Mount Zion
from this time on and forever.

³³ He will reign over the house of Jacob^(A) forever,
and His kingdom will have no end.^(B)
