15 Then desire, after it[a] has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it[b] is brought to completion, gives birth to death.

16 Do not be deceived, my dear brothers. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of change.
